There are several issues with the headlights of a 2008 Chevy Silverado. One problem involves the electrical connections, as they can get corroded, leading to a disruption in the electrical signal which often happens gradually due to water entering and causing oxidation. Another issue concerns misalignment, as there are screws on the back of the headlight assembly that can be adjusted to achieve the proper angle for viewing from the driver's seat. In some cases, the plastic may become fragile, causing the bolts to break. Furthermore, there have been reports of blown headlight fuses due to exposed wires causing a short circuit.
