While there are no specific official reports regarding issues with the Stabilink/Traction control in GM vehicles like the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, many owners have raised concerns about them. GM has addressed some of these issues under its powertrain warranty until 2009. Common problems reported include the random activation of warning indicator lights, issues with the traction control system (TCS) turning on or off improperly, complete failure of traction control, and loss of anti-lock brake system functions. To deactivate the TCS in your vehicle, look for a switch or button depicting a car with wavy lines below it. Press this button to turn off the TC, with a steady yellow light indicating the deactivation on your dashboard.
