Android Auto has not been updated yet, despite multiple trips to the dealer. The user bought a Rav4 with the expectation of having Android Auto, but it does not work even after the dealer's update. Despite enjoying the Rav4, the user is currently unhappy with Toyota.

All 2019 Rav4 vehicles made in the fourth quarter of 2019 will include Android Auto as a standard feature. For Rav4s manufactured before the last quarter, owners are entitled to a complimentary upgrade to enable Android Auto.

I'm currently in the waiting room at the Toyota service center. None of the staff here seem to be aware of the update I'm asking about; they looked at me like I was crazy. They are saying it's not even possible to do. I'm not sure where the person who mentioned this upgrade got their information from, but it seems like they might be the only one who knows about it!
