The frequency at which you should change the oil in your 2013 Ford Escape depends on the type of oil you are using. If you are using conventional oil, it is recommended to change it every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. However, if you are using synthetic oil, you can go for about 7,500 to 10,000 miles before needing to change it. When it is time for an oil change, make sure to use Ford's recommended SAE 5W-20 motor oil. For the 2.0L engine, you will need about 4.5 quarts of oil. Any brand of filter is compatible, and you do not have to purchase one from the dealer, as it will not void your warranty.
You'll want to get the oil changed in your 2013 Ford Escape every 7,500 miles and make sure to use a 5w-20 synthetic oil when you do.
Make sure to get the oil in your 2013 Ford Escape swapped out either every 7,500 miles or at least once annually.
