To reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in your 2014 Subaru Impreza, first park the car and shut off the engine. Use a tire pressure gauge to check the air pressure in all four tires, referring to the recommended levels on the door frame. Then, start the car and drive for at least 10 minutes at speeds over 25 miles per hour. The system should automatically register the tire pressures and turn off the warning light. If the light remains on, you'll need an OBD-II scan tool, especially after tire rotations or TPMS sensor replacements. To use the tool, check each tire's pressure starting from the front left, moving around the car clockwise. Connect the tool to the vehicle's port and turn the ignition on. Transfer the data, disconnect the tool, turn off the ignition, and start the car to see if the system has reset. In some cases, further driving at the specified speed may be necessary.
To recalibrate the tpms of a 2014 Subaru Impreza, press and hold the tpms reset button until the tire pressure indicator flashes, then start the car and wait for about 20 minutes.
