For the 2014 Ford Escape, a navigation system is only offered on the SE and Titanium trims as part of the MyFord Touch entertainment system. To use the navigation, you need the navigation SD card that comes with the purchase. There are two modes available. In Destination Mode, you can set your destination by tapping the green corner on the touchscreen and then hitting the Dest button. Options include setting your home address, accessing emergency services, finding points of interest, and selecting previous destinations. In Map Mode, you can view either 2D city maps or 3D landmark maps. You have the choice of displaying the map with the North pointing upwards, using the 3D map mode to show elevation, or selecting Heading Up to display the direction of travel.
