To replace the battery in the key fob of a 2011 Acura MDX, you'll need a CR2032 cell battery. Use a precision screwdriver to remove the screw at the bottom of the key fob to separate it into two pieces. Then, use a tool to pry open the smaller piece where the battery is located. Replace the old battery with a new one and put the key fob back together.

I believe you have the option to choose between the two, however, a 2032 will have a longer lifespan.

That's amusing. I recently opened my key fob and noticed that it's labeled with CR1616 inside, whereas the battery itself states CR1620.

If you're unsure, please don't respond. It's not beneficial to anyone. I recently purchased a 2032 battery that turned out to be too large. After double-checking, I found that the battery I needed was a 1616 instead.
