The 2017 Nissan Rogue's key fob uses a CR2032 battery, which can be easily replaced. To swap it out, you'll need a small flathead screwdriver. Start by pressing the small button at the top left corner, which will release the ignition key. Remove the key by releasing the latch on the back of the fob. Next, use the screwdriver to separate the fob into two pieces. Inside, you'll find the old battery – take note of its orientation so you know how to place the new one correctly. Remove the old battery using your nail or the screwdriver, then insert the new battery with the positive side facing down. Reassemble the key fob and ensure the two halves are securely together. You may also need to reprogram your key to sync it with the door locks.

Energizer 2025 batteries are sold in pairs. I bought four batteries and stored one pack in the refrigerator door as a backup. I also snapped a photo of them and stored it in my cloud photo library for convenient reference. I hope this tip is useful!
