The 2008 Chevy Cobalt features a 6x5.5 bolt pattern, which refers to the arrangement of the mounting holes on the wheel. To determine your bolt pattern, measure from the center of one stud to the outside of the adjacent stud (skipping one in between). This measurement represents your actual bolt pattern. The 6x5.5 bolt pattern is widely recognized as the most commonly used in the industry, offering a broad range of wheel choices in various sizes. If you plan to switch your wheels, ensure that the new set matches the existing bolt pattern, or else you may need a wheel adapter. Wheel adapters can be employed to modify bolt patterns in order to correctly fit wheels from one vehicle onto the hub of another vehicle.

    Sorry, it definitely does not.

A cobalt definitely does not feature a 6x bolt pattern. The initial number indicates the number of lug nuts. For those mistakenly claiming it has 6 lugs, you should double-check and refrain from spreading misinformation online. The correct options are either 4 or 5 lug configurations.

It's kinda amusing that you all are debating here, but just so you know, I have a 2008 Cobalt LT 2.2 with 15-inch rims that have four lugs and are six and a half inches wide. These rims are factory standard, so the sizes might vary if you have an LS or an SS model. Just sharing a bit of info for those who aren't familiar with it.
