The Chevy S-10 features a 5x4.75 bolt pattern. The lug nuts, typically made of metal, are often treated to resist rust, but with time, rust may form as the protective coatings wear off or due to lack of maintenance. However, since lug nuts are robust enough to securely hold the car's wheels in place, they can endure strong rust removal methods. To determine the 5-lug bolt pattern, a simple method is to measure from the back of one hole to the center of the adjacent hole. When changing wheels, ensure the new wheels have the same bolt pattern; otherwise, a wheel adapter is needed to adjust the fit to the hub of a different vehicle.

The wheel bolt arrangement on every Chevy S10 truck is 5 bolts spaced 120mm apart.

The bolt pattern for an S10 truck is actually 5x4.75 or 5x120.7, and not 5x120 as some mistakenly think. It's important to note that wheel studs should never be bent in order to fit the wheels properly.

The 5x120 bolt pattern can work on an S10 as long as the bolt holes are sufficiently large. When I used to sell custom wheels, we would often use the same wheels for BMWs, Camaros, and S10s. The 5x120.7 is the correct fit, especially for universal wheels with slightly larger holes, similar to the 5x4.5 (114.3) and the 5x115 for GM vehicles. These sizes are often interchangeable due to the larger bolt holes. It's a good idea to try a test fit first before making any modifications. I have personally widened holes to better accommodate lugs, but it can be a significant task to do it properly. Keep in mind that the hub on some 2WD S10 models may not fit into a BMW wheel, especially in the case of a combined hub and rotor. The 4x4 S10 may be easier to fit, but the 2WD can present challenges with the hub compatibility, as I experienced when trying a set on my 1999 Xtreme.

I've got some speedy wheels on my S10 ZR2 truck. I got them from partsengine.ca for around $650. The rims are 8.5 inches wide with a 40 offset, and I've got 265/75R17 tires on them without any rubbing issues. I've added an aftermarket front bumper, not sure if that matters. And I've tightened up my torsion bars. The ride isn't too rough with the ZR2 trim!

The wheels on a lot of S-10 trucks actually have a 5-bolt pattern with a diameter of 120.70 millimeters. To convert this measurement to inches, you simply divide it by 25.4, resulting in a 5-lug wheel with a size of 4.75 inches.

I recently checked the bolt pattern on my 2003 S10 (2WD) truck and it came out to be five bolts on a 4.75-inch circle.

The first generation (squarebody) has a bolt pattern of 5x120.65, the second generation has a 5x120 bolt pattern, and the third generation has a 5x4.75 bolt pattern, depending on the era of the vehicle.

I've got a '94 Camaro and an '07 BMW 650, and I can easily swap the rims and tires between them without any issues. I used to own an S10 that I sold a while back, and I could also switch the rims between all three vehicles with no trouble at all.

I spotted a Chevy S10 truck with BMW wheels yesterday, so it looks like they will fit if you make the necessary adjustments.

Another way to express the calculation 5 multiplied by 4.75 is to say 5 times 4.75.
