The fuel capacity of a Ford F-350 can vary between 34 and 48 gallons depending on the configuration. If you have a specific type of engine, you should fill up with gasoline of 87 octane or higher or ultra-low sulfur diesel. The gas cap is situated on the driver's side of the truck behind the cab. When refueling, make sure to put the truck in park and turn off the engine. To pump gas, open the fuel door and twist the filler cap counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the pump nozzle and rest it on the filler pipe opening. Once the tank is full and the pump clicks off, wait for five seconds before giving the handle another squeeze until it stops. Avoid overfilling the tank to prevent clogging the charcoal filter.
