The 2012 Dodge Charger comes with a 3.6 liter 6-cylinder engine that uses 10 quarts of yellow antifreeze with OAT technology specifically designed for American cars. This antifreeze should be mixed with water to achieve a 50/50 ratio if it is not already diluted. The coolant reservoir is located under the hood in the engine bay on the driver's side at the back of the firewall. It is important to check the coolant levels when the car has cooled down. Do not open the coolant cap while the engine is hot or has recently been running to avoid spilling and burns from hot coolant. Warning signs of low antifreeze levels include increased engine temperatures, warning lights, and leaks from the front of the vehicle. If components like the thermostat, water pump, or radiator hoses need to be replaced or repaired, it may affect the antifreeze levels.

The suggested coolant for the 2012 Dodge Charger is Mopar antifreeze/coolant.

The best response is completely incorrect. In 2012, Dodge vehicles use HOAT/5y rather than OAT/10y, and these two types are not compatible! It wasn't until 2013 and onwards that they made the switch to OAT coolant.
