The 2013 Hyundai Veloster is equipped with a 14 1/2-inch steering wheel. If you're looking to switch out the steering wheel, make sure to gather the necessary tools first. You'll need a T40 torxBit, Phillips head screwdriver, ratchet with an extension, and a 10- and 21-millimeter socket. Additionally, you may require a Flathead screwdriver for prying and painter's tape to mark the wheel's location. Start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal using the 10-millimeter socket. Next, remove the two T40 screws located on the back of the steering wheel by accessing them from the sides. The steering wheel's airbag will then be ready to come out—apply some pressure if needed. Disconnect the electrical connector linked to the airbag. Finally, take out the 21-millimeter bolt securing the steering wheel to the column.
