The blower motor resistor in a 2015 Ford Escape is situated underneath the dashboard on the driver's side, close to the HVAC system piping. This resistor regulates the power supply to the blower motor, which is responsible for circulating air inside your car and keeping the air conditioning system functioning. If you observe a lack of air flow, one of the initial things to inspect is the resistor. If it malfunctions, the motor won't operate. Should replacing the resistor not resolve the issue, I suggest replacing the entire unit as the motor likely seized up at some stage.
The blower motor resistor can be found beneath a four-pin connector located below the motor on the left side of the HVAC plenum.
