To locate the EGR valve in a Ford Transit Van with a 2.2L engine, start by using the release lever inside the van to open the hood. Lift the hood with one hand and release the safety latch with the other hand. Once the hood is open, inspect the engine block and look towards the right side near the firewall to find the EGR valve connected to the engine block.
