The heater core for a 2013 Chevy Sonic is located behind the car's dashboard. Various engine issues may arise, such as a loose gasket that should be tightened promptly, oil leaks that require immediate attention, and a spark plug that might come loose and cause engine problems. An urgent concern is the risk of the engine overheating, potentially leading to car fires and explosions. Excessive oil consumption may necessitate quick oil changes. It's recommended to replace the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, change the coolant every 60,000 miles, and swap out spark plugs every 100,000 miles, unless it's a copper spark plug, in which case it should be changed every 30,000 miles.
This can be found at the back of the car's dashboard, and you'll have to take off the panel to access it.
