You can easily find the idle air control valve (IAC) on a 2007 Ford Fusion attached to the throttle body of the intake manifold. It's a simple task to replace it yourself and save on labor costs, as the average price for a new IAC is around $80. Sometimes, all you need to do is clean the valve instead of replacing it. Over time, the IAC can get dirty due to the large volume of air flowing through it, causing particles to build up inside and affect its performance. To remove it, you just need to unscrew the four screws holding it to the throttle body, disconnect the sensor lead, and then either install a new part or clean the existing one and reattach it.
