Maintaining your tires is crucial for safe driving with the 2001 Chevy Impala's lug pattern of 5 X 5 inches. It's important to watch out for issues like feathering, premature tire wear, and cupping. Regularly check for any potential damage like holes from nails and ensure the part remains tightly secured. Remember to monitor tire pressure monthly and plan for tire replacement every 30,000 to 50,000 miles to avoid accidents on the road.

The 2001 Chevy Impala is designed with a 5x115 bolt pattern. Ignore the advice you've received so far. I made the mistake of purchasing adapters to fit my stock 3.8L Impala wheels onto a Nissan hub for a project, but the 5x5 (5x127) bolt pattern wasn't a match at all. It was closer to the 5x114.3 of the Nissan. Checking more reliable sources, it turns out that the Impala actually has a 5x115 bolt pattern. Therefore, I'm returning the billet adapters I bought and getting the correct size.
