The Dodge Challenger features a 5-lug, 115 mm wheel bolt pattern. This means there are 5 wheel studs spaced at 115 mm apart, with each stud positioned 115 mm from the edge of one to the center of the one diagonally across from it. The Challenger uses 50 mm long, M14 X1.5 studs with a 16.02mm knurl. It is recommended to tighten the lugs to 135 Ft-lbs of torque. To ensure the tire goes on evenly, tighten them in a crisscross pattern. If a lug nut is under-torqued, it can lead to tire shaking and potential stud damage, ultimately resulting in the tire coming off. Over-torquing the lug nuts could warp the rotor and negatively impact the vehicle's drivability.
