The brake lights on a 2014 Ford Focus use a 3157K bulb, which means the bulb style is 3157 and it is filled with Krypton gas. The Krypton gas helps the bulb shine a bit brighter with a hint of blue. If you can't find the 3157K bulb, you can also use a regular 3157 bulb and the difference won't be very noticeable. To replace the bulb, first turn off the headlight control and open the trunk. Take off the trim panel inside the trunk and remove the two nuts from the lamp assembly. Pull the brake light assembly away from the car. Twist the bulb socket to the left and pull the bulb out. Put in the new bulb following the same steps in reverse order.
