The 2017 Chevy Cruze LT features an H11 bulb for the low beams and a 9005 bulb for the high beams. The low beam bulbs are located near the fender, while the high beam is closer to the radiator. Each bulb has a round cap on the back of the headlight for sealing. To replace a bulb, twist the cap counter-clockwise to remove it and access the wiring. Turn the bulb a quarter counter-clockwise to release it from the socket. Disconnect the wiring connector, then insert it into the new bulb while wearing gloves to prevent oils from your fingers from causing premature bulb failure. The driver's side may be more challenging due to the windshield wiper fluid reservoir obstructing access.

I can only find one light bulb that has a dust cover. The passenger side has both low and high beams not working. I changed the 9005 bulb and now both the high and low beams are functional. The manual mentions that the high beam requires a 9005 bulb and the low beam needs an H11 bulb, which is different from what I have seen in my Subaru Outback where H11 bulbs are used for fog lights. This is confusing to me.

The RS Hatchback features projection headlights with a single bulb serving both high and low beams (9005 bulb with no reflector), while the Sedan utilizes two separate lights – one for low beam and one for high beam (reflector type).
