The 2018 Mazda CX5 has M12 X1.5 lug nuts that require a 21mm hex for removal. To take off the lug nuts from your car, be sure to use a 21mm socket. Using an impact driver is recommended during removal to break the torque that secures the nuts. However, when reinstalling, it's important to use a calibrated torque wrench to prevent stripping out the nuts or studs. Damages could result in needing to replace the wheels, nuts, or studs, depending on what is affected.
In the beginning of 2018, the Mazda CX-5 vehicles were equipped with 17mm lug nuts. I can confirm this because I own one myself.
The lug nut size for the 20218 Mazda CX5 is 21 millimeters.
