No problem at all, we've all been in that situation before. When you're trying to change your own oil and get stuck with the filter, those caps can be really tough to remove, especially if you're not sure of the correct socket size. For the Chevrolet Cruze, you'll need a 24mm wrench or socket, which is equivalent to a 15/16 inch standard size if you prefer that. If the socket doesn't fit, it's likely that the cap is rounded off, and you'll have to use a special tool like a large Gator Grip to loosen it. It's a good idea to have a backup plan ready, as it's not recommended to replace a stripped cap.
