The Toyota Matrix trunk has a capacity of 53.2 cubic feet. There are three methods for opening the trunk. Firstly, you can unlock it with the keys by inserting them into the lock at the back of the trunk. Another option is to use the button inside the car with an open trunk symbol. If this doesn't work, it may be due to a faulty fuse that needs replacing. Alternatively, you can utilize the trunk-opening button on the key fob for remote access, even from inside your home. In case of being accidentally locked in the trunk, there is an emergency release lever located near the front left of the trunk, behind the carpet.
