The 2013 Ford Taurus has speakers of different sizes in various locations - front and rear doors are 6x8", center dash and rear deck center are both 3-1/2", and rear deck corners are 6x9". If the speakers are not working, check the fuse box. To access the fuse box, locate a seam or crack on the left side of the dashboard near the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open it. Inside, you'll find a display of fuses that corresponds to a diagram on the back of the panel. If needed, consult the owner's manual for the car. Identify the faulty fuse by checking for a broken thin strip connecting the two metal sections. If the strip is intact, the fuse is fine and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10 each.
