The recommended power steering fluid type for the 2002 INFINITI I35 is Dexron III. To change the power steering fluid, start by locating the clear plastic container under the hood near the window. Use a pump to extract all the fluid from the container. As the fluid level decreases, turn the steering wheel all the way to one side and then to the other to allow the fluid in the wheel to drain into the container; remove this fluid as well. Once the container is empty, refill it to the full line without overfilling. It may take a bit of time for the steering wheel to loosen up, so drive for about 20 minutes to ensure the process was successful.

The 2002 Infiniti I35 should use Lubegard synthetic power steering fluid for optimal performance.
