The recommended tire pressure for the 2002 Nissan Altima is 30 psi, with tire size P205/65R16 and wheel size 16 inches. Resetting the tpms after purchasing new tires is a relatively simple process. Start by ensuring the vehicle is on level ground. Check the tire pressure of each tire to ensure they are at the correct psi, which can be found stamped on the side of the tire. Next, sit in the car and turn the power on without starting the engine. Locate the tpms button next to the steering wheel, hold it down until it blinks, then let the car sit for about 20 minutes for recalibration. Once the blinking stops, turn off the car and then on again to confirm the reset was successful.

The 2002 Nissan Altima comes with a set of 16-inch silver aluminum wheels as standard. It's best to maintain the front tire pressure at 29 psi and the rear tire pressure at 32 psi. The front and rear tires both have a size of P205/65R16.
