The tire pressure recommendation for the 2005 Hyundai Elantra is 30 psi, with tire size 195/60r15 and wheel size 15 inches. Resetting the tpms after getting new tires is not difficult. Begin by ensuring the vehicle is parked on level ground. Check the tire pressure of each tire to confirm they are at the correct psi, which is usually indicated on the side of the tire. Next, sit in the car and power it on without starting the engine. On the right side of the steering wheel, there is a button labeled tpms or similar. Press and hold this button until it starts blinking. After it blinks, allow the car to sit for approximately 20 minutes for recalibration. Once it stops blinking, turn off the car and then turn it back on to verify the reset was successful.
