The 2016 Chevy Impala requires tire pressure to be between 35 and 40 psi when the tires are cold. Resetting the TPMS after adjusting tire pressure or installing new tires is a simple process. First, ensure the vehicle is parked on level ground. Check the side of the tire for the recommended psi. Once this is confirmed, get inside the car and turn on the power without starting the engine. Locate the TPMS button to the right of the steering wheel and hold it down until it starts blinking. Allow the car to sit for about 20 minutes for recalibration. When the blinking stops, turn off the car and then turn it back on to confirm the reset was successful.
