The Ford Ranger is equipped with a T55 bed bolt Torx system. When you're working with lug nuts on a car, it's important to handle them carefully. If you overtighten the lug nuts, there's a risk of breaking or stripping them, particularly if they're old or rusty. Stripping the lug nuts will cause them to just spin in the socket, making them impossible to remove. In such cases, a mechanical press might be needed to extract them, but this can potentially damage the wheel. If a bolt snaps, you'll have to take off the wheel's rotor to unscrew it from the back. To prevent these issues, just exercise caution when dealing with lug nuts.
