The 2007 Chevy Equinox requires orange 50/50 coolant. Engine issues may arise such as excessive oil consumption, leading to premature oil changes. A critical concern is the risk of engine overheating, potentially causing fires or explosions. Loose gaskets must be promptly tightened and loose spark plugs need to be reattached to avoid engine problems. Immediate attention is required for oil leaks. Coolant should be replaced every 60,000 miles, spark plugs every 100,000 miles unless they are copper, in which case replacement is needed every 30,000 miles. Air filters should be replaced every 15,000 to 30,000 miles.
