The reset button for the TPMS is typically found under the steering wheel. Sometimes, you might have to press and hold the button until the light starts blinking. If your tire pressure drops below 25% of the recommended level, the indicator lights will come on. Tire pressure tends to decrease in cold weather, even if it was properly inflated. This is due to the compression of air in the cold and its expansion in the heat. As a result, the low tire pressure light may come on when the tires are actually okay but cold. The light should go away after the tires warm up. It's important to check tire pressure every month using a reliable tire gauge. Low tire pressure can lead to a blowout.
