Acura will send you periodic maintenance reminders, known as "Maintenance Minders," and it's up to you to decide how to act on that information. However, you should have the necessary details to make an educated choice, which is what I aim to provide today. I'll be honest - I personally overlook these reminders. The B16 code specifically indicates that you should replace your rear differential fluid (usually costing around $300 at most dealerships -- what a deal!), rotate your tires, and bring your vehicle in for the "B" service, which includes an oil change, oil filter replacement, rear brake inspection, parking brake adjustment, and a thorough check of other safety areas. These are routine tasks that most owners should regularly perform anyway. If you have already done so, you can probably disregard this warning code.
The maintenance code "b16" for the Acura MDX indicates that rear differential fluid replacement, tire rotation, and "B service" are required.
I receive a signal with a strength level of 16.
