Both rotations need to be synchronized for the engine to work properly. If there is a discrepancy in RPMs, the P0741 code will appear, leading the mechanic to suspect issues with the TCC or torque converter clutch, a malfunctioning solenoid, a faulty transmission control module, engine coolant temperature sensor, low-quality transmission fluid, or damaged wiring in the transmission area. As a vehicle owner, you may notice symptoms such as the "check engine" light turning on, increased fuel consumption, misfires, stalling, and difficulty shifting into high gear at high speeds.
