The 2012 Acura TSX uses SAE 0W-20 full synthetic oil and requires about 4.2 quarts of oil when changing it along with the oil filter, which should be done approximately every 7,500 miles or sooner depending on your driving habits. Ensure your new filter has a 20mm thread size. When loosening the oil drain plug, it's recommended to replace the washer and tighten it to 30 lb-ft using a 17mm socket. After refilling the oil, check the level with the dipstick, making sure it falls between the two indicators at the bottom of the stick.
