The 2007 Buick Lucerne comes with a factory amp located in the trunk to improve the signal from the radio to the speakers. If the amp is not functioning properly, you should check the fuse box. To access the fuse box, look to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack in the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open it. Inside, you'll find various fuses. The back of the panel you opened will have a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not present, you can also find the information in the owner's manual. Identify the fuse you need and pull it out. A good fuse will have a thin strip of metal connecting the two sections that stick up. If this strip is broken, the fuse must be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. New fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10.
