The 2009 version of the Ford Focus doesn't come with a cabin air filter as a standard feature. Instead, it has a plastic mesh that helps keep out leaves and debris from getting into the HVAC system. This mesh is a permanent part of the vehicle and doesn't require replacement.

The 2009 Ford Focus comes without a cabin air filter installed as part of the standard features.

Certainly! The filter can be found in the front passenger's foot area. You will have to lower the fuse box and take off the bracket to access it. The filter is positioned vertically, hidden behind a plastic cover secured by 4-5 screws. The cost of the filter is around £12.

Certainly! Indeed, it is located right behind the heating controls, and you can access it from the rear of the fuse box.

Yes, a cabin air filter is included in the setup! For vehicles with the steering wheel on the left side (LHD), you will have to take out the accelerator pedal, whereas for those with the steering wheel on the right side (RHD), you'll need to remove the fusebox located on the passenger side.

I recently searched online and swapped out a cabin air filter in a 2009 Focus (the manual was no help). I just wish Ford had made it a bit easier!
