In a 2019 Honda Civic, the cigarette lighter is located behind the opening near the shifter. If the lighter isn't working, it's likely not receiving power from the fuse. To access the fuse box, check to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Using a screwdriver or prybar, carefully open this panel to reveal a cluster of fuses. Refer to the diagram on the back of the panel or consult the owner's manual to identify the specific fuse needed. Pull out the fuse; if the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. If the strip is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically costing around $10.
