yes,

In the 2005 Chevy Silverado, the front airbag sensors need to be mounted underneath the front radiator supports. These sensors are attached to the core on either side and can be easily removed once a metal protective shield is released, which is held in place by three to four 15mm bolts. To access the sensors, you will need to go under the vehicle. If the airbag warning light is on, it may be due to faulty sensors or issues with the module wiring interfering with their functioning. Possible vehicle modules that could be causing malfunction include the BCM, Inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module, driver door, passenger door, as well as the driver and passenger seat modules. The estimated cost to replace one of the Silverado's front airbag sensors is between $370 and $390 for both parts and labor.
