The location of the fuse box in a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 is on the left side of the steering wheel. To access it, look for a small seam or crack along the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open it up. Inside, you'll find several fuses. Behind the panel you opened, there should be a diagram that shows what each fuse is for. If the diagram isn't there, you can also find this information in the owner's manual for the vehicle. Once you determine which fuse you need, simply pull it out. Check to see if the thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact - if it's broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is still intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are typically inexpensive, priced around 10 dollars.
