In the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, the instrument cluster is housed inside the interior fuse box, positioned slightly to the left of the steering wheel under the dashboard. Look for a small plastic box that contains the fuse for the instrument cluster. Depending on the Silverado model, the fuse may be labeled as "Interior," "Instrument Cluster," or "Instrument Panel," typically a red 10A fuse. If you have large fingers like me, it's important to use a fuse puller or a pair of pliers when removing it to avoid awkwardly struggling with the box. It's not a good look!
