To find and replace the fuse for the license plate light on a 2014 Chevy Silverado, start by locating the fuse box in the engine compartment. Pull the hood release lever, situated below and to the left of the steering wheel. Then, step out of the truck and head to the front. Place your hand between the top of the grill and the bottom of the hood to release the hood latch. The fuse box is mounted on the fender to your right. Pull the fuse straight out of its socket and inspect it against the light to check if the filament is intact. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage rating.
