The 2015 Ford F-150's fuel pump shut-off function is controlled by what's known as an "inertia switch." This feature deactivates the pump in the event of a crash to prevent the engine from potentially igniting. If your truck is equipped with this feature, you'll find the switch typically located behind the kick panel on the passenger's side of the vehicle cabin. Signs that the inertia switch has been triggered include the engine not starting or failing to ignite when starting the car. Sometimes, this switch can be unintentionally triggered by actions like disconnecting and reconnecting the battery or experiencing minor impacts like hitting a speed bump. If this does occur, you can reset the switch by locating it below the panel and pressing down on the top until you hear an audible "click." Once you've done this, replace the kick panel, and your car should start up again if the fuel pump is undamaged.
The 2015 Ford F150 inertia switch can be found under the dashboard on the left side of the driver's seat.

The 205 Ford F-150 does not feature any switches located underneath the kick panels on either the driver's or passenger's side.
