In the 2010 Ford F-150, you can find the oil dipstick in the engine compartment on the left side of the engine, close to the middle and just behind and below the oil fill spot. This dipstick stands out with its bright yellow plastic handle. To access the engine, pull the hood release lever located on the driver's side, near the foot area inside the vehicle. To measure the engine oil level using the dipstick, remove it, wipe it clean with a towel or rag, and look for dot markings near the end. The lowest dot indicates the minimum level and the highest dot shows the maximum level. Reinsert the dipstick fully, then pull it out to check the oil level, which should fall between these two markings.
