The starter solenoid on your 2003 Honda Accord is situated at the front lower part of the engine. When replacing it, start by disconnecting the battery. Then, you'll have to take off the intake and intake manifold to reach the bolts that secure the starter to the engine. Afterward, it's just a matter of swapping out the old part for the new one. There are a few signs to look out for that could indicate your starter is failing or has already gone bad. The most notable is when the engine won't start even with a fully charged battery. Another warning sign is the increasing time it takes for the car to start once you turn the key, as the failing part will make the process longer each time.
