The 2008 Ford Focus does not have a trunk release button inside the cabin. To open the trunk, there are two methods available. The first is to press and hold the release button on your key fob, which is the most convenient way, especially when you are not near the vehicle or inside it. The second option is to use the key cylinder on the trunk - insert the key, turn it to the left, and the latch will release, allowing you to open the trunk.

Besides the trunk release button on the key fob, the 2008 Ford Focus has an additional trunk release button located inside the car. You can locate it on the driver's side panel right below the air vent on the dashboard.

I've got a 2008 Ford Focus SE, and right under the driver's side air vent, you'll find the headlight switch and the dashboard light dimmer. Inside the car, there's no trunk release, so if you need to access it, you'll have to fold down the back seats and use the emergency trunk release.

I drive a 2010 Ford Fiesta Zetec and I can't open the trunk because it doesn't have a key fob, only a key.

There's a tab on the upper right side of the rear seats that you can use to fold them down, making it simple to access the trunk and pull the emergency release button to open it.
