In the 2005 Chevy Uplander, the turn signal flasher can be found inside the fuse box. To access the fuse box, you should look towards the left side of the steering wheel and inspect for a small seam or crack in the dashboard. Using a screwdriver or prybar, gently open this panel. Inside, you will see various fuses. On the back of the panel you removed, there should be a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If not, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual for this information. Identify the fuse you need and carefully remove it. A good fuse will have a thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections. If this strip is broken, the fuse is defective and requires replacement. If the strip is intact, then the fuse is functional and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are reasonably priced at around 10 dollars each.
The thermal flasher can be found in the fuse box, situated close to the front passenger seat.
