The flasher for the 2011 Chevy Silverado turn signals is typically located beneath the dashboard on the driver's side, with wiring connecting it to both the turn signal and hazard flashers. This part has a history of malfunctioning and should be inspected if your turn signals are not functioning, following a check to ensure the fuse is intact. The flasher is responsible for controlling the timing of the lights turning on and off, causing them to flash when you activate the switch or hazard lights.

The turn signal flashers can be found behind the passenger side of the dashboard, below the left side.

I have a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 truck. I spent the whole day searching for a turn signal relay, but ended up replacing all the bulbs instead. The right turn signal was functioning properly, but the left turn signal was blinking too fast on the dashboard, despite the bulbs not lighting up at all. It turns out, this truck model doesn't have a relay, but rather a 15 amp number 3 fuse located on the inside fuse panel. I discovered that this fuse was faulty, replaced it, and now everything is working perfectly.
