In the 2012 Ford Fusion, Bluetooth connectivity is available only with the tech package, while every trim level, from the S to the SE, SEL, and up to the Sport, comes with an auxiliary input. Locating the auxiliary port, however, can be a bit tricky. While many would expect it to be on the head unit, Ford opted for a different placement—it can be found in the center console, on the front side when you open the door. While this design may seem dated nowadays, some manufacturers still use it. If you wish to upgrade, aftermarket head units from brands like Boss, Sony, and Pioneer are available, placing the input conveniently on the head unit for easy access.
