On the 2011 Ford F-150, you can locate the fuel tank pressure sensor (FTPS) on the top of the fuel tank. It is a critical part of the fuel pump assembly and the evaporative emissions system. The FTPS informs the engine control unit (ECU) about any fuel system leaks or a loose gas cap. If the FTPS starts to malfunction, you may notice increased fuel consumption, reduced power, or difficulty starting your vehicle. These issues can also be related to a failing crankshaft sensor, so you will need to do some investigating to determine the exact problem.

The fuel tank pressure sensor is not inside the fuel pump. I purchased a component for my 2013 model, but it's not present there. The sensor is positioned in the vapor line connecting the pump unit to the charcoal canister.

The fuel tank pressure sensor for the 2011 Ford F-150 is situated close to the center of the fuel rail and is linked to the engine control unit (ECU).
